Get Naked in Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadows

We’ve heard all the ranting and raving about the
Urban Decay Naked eyeshadow palette for quite some time now and finally decided to give it a try.  We normally shy away from a lot of Urban Decay’s eyeshadows, as they are usually quite bright and/or glittery, and not suitable for everyday use.
The Naked palette has been a best seller for months now, and when we saw a plentiful stock at Sephora, we had to try it.  The palette comes in a luxe velvety case, and includes 12 highly pigmented neutral colors, with a mini Primer Potion and an eyeshadow brush.  Five of the eyeshadow colors are exclusive to this palette.  I think pretty much anyone can find some very flattering shades in this palette.

The shadows go on like butter,   and have staying power (especially when the primer is applied beforehand).  They are neutrals, but not at all boring. The palette includes mattes, shimmers and  of course, some glitter shadows. Most of the shades are something you can get away with using in the daytime.  There are also some darker shadows, to create a smoky nighttime look.   It’s a very versatile kit.  I sometimes use the darker shades as a liner.  Nothing in this kit is wasted.  The Primer Potion and the Good Karma eyeshadow brush are great tools, and I find myself reaching for this kit on a daily basis, because I can create some very pretty looks. The palette retails for $48 at Sephora,  and so far, it’s been worth every penny.
Now, it’s fun going Naked on a daily basis.  For this, Glambo gives it a GLAMBO Kiss of Approval.
