Urban Decay - Naked Smoky

Hello Beauty Lovers!

We just got a sneak peek of Urban Decay's newest palette - Naked Smoky - launching July 8th. We had to share the video with you!

Here at Glambo, we REALLY try to remain unbiased. However, since each of us already have the previous three Naked palettes, and LOVE THEM, it's hard not to have high expectations for Naked Smoky. Urban Decay's shadows are great, the palettes are sturdy, and we like the double ended brushes.

Stock up on the eye shadow primer and makeup remover. Then, get ready to fight the crowd to get Urban Decay's Naked Smoky!

Full review coming soon!

Angelina Jolie Poses Naked-Faced for Louis Vuitton’s 'Core Values' Campaign?

Earlier this week, excited bloggers and media members leaked out this gorgeous Louis Vuitton ad, shot in Cambodia, featuring Angelina Jolie.  The photo is beautiful, and I personally have never wanted to go to Cambodia...until now (take note Cambodian Tourism Bureau).

One thing that caught our eye here at Glambo is that she reportedly has opted for a natural makeup-free look in this "Core Values" ad for Louis Vuitton. REALLY?? Honestly, it looks to us like she is rocking a smoky eye and some Buxom lipgloss! Is this Hollywood's version of makeup-free? Maybe she originally took the photo makeup-free, but then editors found it wan't glamorous enough, so digitally airbrushed a smoky eye onto her?

We also heard that Jolie insisted that she use her own clothes, and handbag for the shoot. Reportedly, the bag modeled in this picture is 6 years old, and is not even available for purchase! Hilarious. So, what is the point of the ad then? "Here at Louis Vuitton, our core value is selling you things you cannot attain."  Just guessing.  Or perhaps, "We like to hire spokespeople that are such divas that they will model our brand, just nothing we're actually selling right now."

Well, it looks like LV may have to bring back a re-edit of Angelina's bag.  I guess that's what happens when you hire a diva with core values (isn't that an oxymoron?)  Seriously, we love Louis, and Angelina, but this ad gets a Glambo Snicker.

We want to know your opinion.  Does it look like Angelina is make-up free in this ad?  Comment on this post, comment on our Facebook Page, or tweet us @GlamboGirls .
